Presently Double Stack Trains (DST’s) to & from California and North and East from So. Arizona. 70 trains per day touch Tucson now. 110 projected for 2010.

Use present Intermodal Operations in So. Arizona and in near future start a proposed port in Sonora Mexico

Double Stack container Trains (DST’s) from Guaymas to So. Arizona

Use present Guaymas Port Complex
Proposed "Long Term" Solution

Stage I – use current infrastructure in Guaymas.
- Double track the existing rail line to the Arizona border
- Using the “Port of Tucson” already in existence

Stage II – Build State of the Art Intermodal Hub near Port of Guaymas.

Stage III – Find deep water to accommodate larger ships.
