With more than 40 years as a principal in international trade,
development, communication and investment, Alberto Piña Moore has
led and directed successful regional ventures in North & Latin
America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Founder and chairman of the Sunbelt World Trade Association,
consultant to foreign companies and governments, and often advisor
to U.S. Congressional and Executive Branch bodies, Mr. Moore's
development and investment interests world-wide include ‑
- Community Development & Finance - real estate development,
finance and commerce projects;
- Education & Culture Programs - educational, cultural and
training projects, programs, and institutions;
- Regional & Economic Security - commercial, industrial,
government, and professional security technologies and programs;
and
- Hospitality, Tourism & The Arts - art, culture, tourism and
hospitality business and programs.

- Education & Inter-Cultural Programs
Mr. Moore currently serves as chair for both the Advisory Board
and the Magellan Circle of the College of Social and Behavioral
Sciences, the University of Arizona, overseeing development of
programs and projects as the College's Departments & Units become
more self-sufficient in their support systems. Mr. Moore has
furthered College Special Project focus on Water & Security Issues
dealing with Regional, National & International facilities; and on
Native American Tribal language & cultural resource preservation.
As a board member for the developing Nanjing American University,
an academic institution based in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, People's
Republic of China, Mr. Moore oversees the development of programs to
provide Chinese students with an American-based education, and
American students with opportunities to receive credit from U.S.
based institutions for course-work with American faculty in Nanjina.
In China, Europe, Mexico & the U.S., Mr. Moore is also
responsible for development of vocational and skills-based
educational programs, including model training programs for
manufacturing, health care research, medical product services and
the hospitality & tourism industries. Mr. Moore led the
European-American International Hospitality Institute in Eastern
Europe, and more recently, the Northern Arizona University School of
Hotel & Restaurant Management, he has led program development for
China and Asia. Mr. Moore also played a key role in establishing
partnerships for joint research, exchange of faculty and students,
and other programs between the University of Arizona College of
Medicine and National Yang Ming Medical College, Taipei, Taiwan.
With CRIDE, S.A.C.V., a Mexican human resources management company,
Mr. Moore developed and implemented model employee training programs
for companies having established maquiladora operations under Twin
Plants programs on the U.S.-Mexico border.

Community Development & Finance
Mr. Moore is responsible for residential, commercial, community &
industrial real estate-based development projects in the U.S.
Southwest, Mexico, Europe & Asia. Some of his most successful
projects are in the rapidly growing Tucson, Arizona-area, where Mr.
Moore has sited and developed long-range and enduring projects
including: Vistoso Catalina & Coronado Vistoso (200+/- mid-end to
high-value home sites & condominiums); Vistoso Verde (high-end
residential community); La Placita Village (an office-commercial
project once again at the core of Tucson's downtown renewal); and
The Great Western Bank Tower (Tucson's first prime office
high-rise).
Currently, Mr. Moore is leading development of Desert Peoples &
Origins Institute (DPOI), a not-for-profit corporation which, in
conjunction with the University of Arizona and various public &
private partners, will oversee development of for-profit ventures,
including various conference & five-star-amenity hospitality
facilities sited in unique & historic public desert park environs,
with cultural demonstration, training & enterprise sites, and other
facilities all generators in the project's conceptual plan. Aspects
of the DPOI project - a focus on building in the sustaining desert
environment - interface with Mr. Moore's long-time activities with
CDT Systems International, a water resources management and
technology company.
Mr. Moore has been a key proponent and initiator for U.S.
Department of State's Sister Cities initiatives between Arizona and
Taiwan, the People's Republic of China, Hungary & Iraq. With the
China External Trade & Development Council (CETDC ), Mexican, &
American investors, Mr. Moore developed tri-lateral trade programs,
which programs the basis of his activities with the Arizona District
Export Council, an organization of the U.S. Department of Commerce,
and with private investment groups seeking trade opportunities in
Arizona, Mexico & Asia. For the 3M Corporation, Mr. Moore organized
and managed a team based in Hungary, to represent that company and
its products in Eastern Europe.
As an early adaptor in reducing barriers to international trade,
Mr. Moore was responsible for initial development and management of
the San Xavier Development Authority's Foreign Trade Zone #48, the
first foreign trade zone in Arizona, and the first developed by a
Native American Tribal government (Tohono O'Odham). Mr. Moore
established his long-term relations with Mexico's public and private
sectors in development of various projects: for CAASA International,
a Mexico-owned geo-physical exploration company, Mr. Moore developed
exploration projects in cooperation with Native American Tribal
authorities, to assay inventories of oil & natural gas on tribal
lands; and for Fairfield-Maxwell LTF/ICESA, S.A., Mr. Moore,
represented Japanese shipping lines, developed a tanker leasing
program for PEMEX to provide oil for Japanese fish processing ships,
and to benefit Mexico's fleet by using Japanese fish processing
ships.
Palladium Cora. - Regional & Economic Security
Mr. Moore is currently involved in the development of various
natural resources, transportation facilities, & centralized utility
security programs, using technologies of his various partner
companies, including CDT SYSTEMS International water resources
management, technology & resource security; PrevenTronics
Corporation commercial & industrial security systems manufacturing
capabilities; as well as capacities of other client operations with
radio, telemetry & sky-siting capabilities.
Other projects of service to the U.S. Department of Homeland
Security include:
- a program for Federal Court Validation Resource;
developments related to Kurdistan, Iraq.
- programs adopted by the U.S. Border Patrol in cooperation
with the Mexican government to stem Human Trafficking Across the
U.S.-Mexico Border.

program development in use of Native American Tribal resources and skills for border region object tracking.
Mr. Moore has served as markets and communication consultant for
CPP-Pinkerton projects in Mexico and for development of the
Company's security contract for the 1984 Summer Olympic Games in Los
Angeles.
Mr. Moore served in the U.S. Army, receiving an Honorable
Discharge in 1967.
AMA Hospitality Services International, LLC
- Hospitality, Tourism & The Arts
As chief operating officer for Mediterranean Resort International
in Pecs, Hungary, Mr. Moore provided direction as this region of
Eastern Europe opened to global tourism.
Mr. Moore oversaw business development as a principal for
Destination Data Network, the early-adopter database network aimed
at the travel planning and hospitality industries solutions.
As Director General of Hoteles Iripimo, S.A., Hermosillo, Sonora,
Mexico, Mr. Moore furthered his knowledge base of Mexican business
and government networks.
Network development is also key as various academic institutions
in the People's Republic of China seek to globalize the caliber of
their hospitality industry labor force, and tap Mr. Moore to assist
them in partnering with U.S. institutions such as Northern Arizona
University School of Hotel and Restaurant Management.
Mr. Moore is a collector of ancient art & artifacts and has long
been a member-horseman of Los Charms del Desierto. From his
home and operations base in Tucson, Arizona, Mr. Moore maintains
family interests stemming from their colonial founding, Aambos
