Dr. Ting Ho
“FedEx World Wide Chief Economist responsible
for the business plan forecast and development and for building
external networks.
At this time was also in charge of alerting
senior management to emerging trends and treads of competitive
responses.
Dr. Ting was also in charge of market-focused
research establishing contact with decision- makers in the “Global
Market”, while at the same time consulting regularly with FedEx
customers and their strategic partners.
Dr. Ting has extensive experience in both the
public and private sectors, including: Director at the institute of
development studies for the province of Sabah, Malaysia; research
fellow at the Malaysian institute of economic research; advisor to
the government of Sabah and the Sabah foundation; advisor at OCBC
bank; senior economist at the central bank of Malaysia; senior
economist at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft.
Dr. Ting Ho participates actively in numerous
forums, and is regularly invited to address CEO’s and senior
executives of fortune 500 companies on global logistics strategies.
Dr. Ting holds a BA degree in economics with
emphasis in strategist from the university of Malaya and a masters
degree and a PhD in economics from the University of Pennsylvania”.
